Summary of the Major Actions Taken by the DMCS Board at the November 20, 2006 Meeting

President Dan Grizzle called the Open Session meeting to order in the Elementary Teachers’ Workroom.
Twelve (12) of the 12 Directors were present, representing a quorum.
Dr. Bob Stouffer, Superintendent, was also present.
Director Ken Hockmuth opened the meeting in prayer.
The Board adjourned from Open Session and convened in Closed Session.
Twelve (12) of the 12 Directors were in attendance, representing a quorum.
Dr. Stouffer and John Steddom, Secondary Principal, were also present.
The Board approved Closed Session minutes for the meetings on November 6, 2006 and November 10, 2006.
The Board approved Randy Nesbit as a Volunteer Seventh Grade Girls Assistant Basketball Coach for the 2006-2007 season.
The Board approved the fall stipend for DMCS Drama Director David Harris.
The Board approved Jerry Foster, Sr. as a Volunteer Varsity Boys Assistant Basketball Coach for the 2006-2007 season.
The Board approved Brenda Knollenberg as a Secondary Substitute Teacher.
The Board adjourned from Closed Session and reconvened in Open Session.

The Board approved Open Session minutes for the meeting on November 6, 2006.
The Board read 19 Board policies; all other policies listed on the agenda were tabled due to time constraints.
Director Doug Cappel closed the meeting in prayer.
