Summary of Major Actions Taken by the DMCS Board on December 18, 2006

President Dan Grizzle called the meeting to order.

Twelve (12) of the 12 Directors were in attendance, representing a quorum.

Dr. Bob Stouffer, Superintendent, was also in attendance.

Dr. Stouffer opened the meeting in prayer – for joyous Christmas celebrations, for any cares of the Association, and for the Ochs family as they relocate from Iowa to Oregon.  (Dr. Ben Ochs announced at the meeting that he would be resigning from the Board in order to receive cancer treatment in Oregon. The Board wished him and the rest of his family well.)

The Board adjourned to Closed Session.

The Board approved Closed Session minutes for the Board meeting on December 4, 2006.

The Board adjourned from Closed Session and reconvened in Open Session.

Dr. Bob Stouffer, Superintendent, and Cade Lambert, Elementary Principal, were also in attendance.

The Board approved Open Session minutes for the Board meeting on December 4, 2006.

Corrections were made to the agenda, and 19 Board policies were reviewed by the Board.

Director Mary Jo Ytzen closed the meeting in prayer.

The meeting was adjourned.
