Summary Report of Major Actions Taken During the February 19, 2007 DMCS Board Meeting

President Dan Grizzle called the Open Session meeting to order.

Eleven (11) of 11 Directors were in attendance, representing a quorum.

Dr. Bob Stouffer, Superintendent, was also in attendance.

Director Bruce Stanley opened the meeting in prayer.

The Board adjourned to Closed Session.

The Board approved Closed Session and Executive Session minutes for meetings on February 5, 2007.

The Board approved Joan Ives as an instructor for private strings lessons at Des Moines Christian.

The Board approved Kelly Tysseling as a temporary associate for the high school Spanish classes.

The Board approved Leah Kostek as an Early Education Substitute.

The Board approved Clint Luscombe as a paid Assistant Baseball Coach and Bill Artino as an unpaid volunteer Assistant Baseball Coach for the 2007 season.

The Board approved Katheryn Anderson as a substitute teacher. 

The Board adjourned from Closed Session and reconvened in Open Session.

The Board approved Open Session minutes for meetings on January 29, 2007 and February 5, 2007. 

Due to time constraints, the readings of two Board policies listed on the agenda were tabled.

Director Todd Goeldner closed the meeting in prayer.

The meeting was adjourned.
