Summary Report of Major Actions Taken During the May 19, 2008 DMC Board Meeting

President Dan Grizzle called the meeting to order in Open Session.

Nine (9) of the 12 Directors were in attendance, representing a quorum.

Dr. Bob Stouffer, Superintendent, was also in attendance.

Dr. Stouffer opened the meeting in prayer.

The Board adjourned from Open Session to Closed Session.

The Board approved Closed Session minutes for the Board meeting on May 5, 2008.

The Board approved Lisa Fitzgerald as a full-time Development Assistant for the 2008-2009 school year.  DMC Development Director Samona Yentes was available during Closed Session for the Board discussion about Mrs. Fitzgerald’s qualifications for the Development position.

The Board adjourned from Closed Session, reconvening in Open Session. 

DMC Science Instructor Brad Green was in attendance during Open Session at the Board meeting.

The Board approved Open Session minutes for the Board meeting on May 5, 2008.

No Communication from the Association/Public, Old Business, or New Business was scheduled for this Board meeting.

The Board reviewed all 35 Board policies listed on the agenda.

Board Secretary Mary Jo Ytzen closed the meeting in prayer.

The meeting was adjourned.
