The Lion’s cheerleading squad won ICCA’s State Competition for the third year in a row in Class A. They also took first place at American Cheerleader’s National Competition in January. In addition, the girls placed second at the University of Iowa Cheerleading Championships.

In January, the cheerleaders hosted their annual Junior Cheer Clinic with over 85 junior cheerleaders participating.
