Course Description
Grades 11-12
Systematic Theology
Philosophy Statement: The purpose of Christian education is to equip the Christian young person with the necessary skills to succeed in life. As such, it is necessary to provide the student with a realistic, bibliocentric view of the world around him. Our desire is to develop in the student the mind of Christ. To this end, biblical truth and the teaching of a biblical worldview will be integrated in all academic disciplines, from preschool to high school.
Course Objective: The purpose of this course is to give the student an understanding of the great doctrines of the Church in a logical, sequential manner so that he will be able to express his own beliefs with clarity. The student will also understand the majesty of God and the unique quality of God’s Word and character, and will respond to His greatness with praise and honor. The student will incorporate into his life the belief that the only response to a holy God is a holy life through the ministry of the Holy Spirit.
