Course Description

Grades 11-12

United States Government

Philosophy Statement:  From creation to the present day, God has been involved in the governing of man.  By studying the past, we see how God works His will in the lives of those who follow Him and how He has spoken and intervened in history.  The study of history should yield an appreciation and realization of the things God has accomplished through people and nations since the creation of the world and His love and concern as He controls the events of world history.

Course Objective:  The course studies the foundation, structure, and practice of the Constitution of the United States of America.  Through discernment and participation in government, students are encouraged to take godly values and morals into a sinful society.
