Des Moines Christian School seeks to promote the development of the whole person through a variety of programs and activities. Opportunities for participation in the life of DMCS outside the classroom give our students a chance to explore the many talents God has given them. Our membership in the West Central Athletics and Activities Conference allows the students to compete in sports, fine arts and academic competitions. The student extra curricular activities program is designed to help students develop Christian friendships, learn social interaction, develop leadership abilities, and glorify Christ.
