Varsity Boys Head Coach, Dave Stubbs
Coach Stubbs is entering his fifth year as head basketball coach at Des Moines Christian School. His career coaching record with the Lions is 85 - 15, and includes Conference, District and Sub-State championships as well as a State qualifying team. The DMCS varsity boys basketball team begins the 2009-10 season on a 26-home game winning streak.
Coach Stubbs is employed as a home builder and land developer. He and his wife, Danielle, have four children: Branden, Austin, Damon, and Megan.

Rob Newton returns to DMC having spent 2 years as an assistant here before taking a similar position at Des Moines East during the '08-09 season. Rob has run AAU teams, held skills training sessions for players of all ages and run various camps and clinics over the past several years. Rob has a passion for working with young people and teaching the game of basketball.
Rob and Jennifer have one child, a son Beckett, who is 7 years old. The Newton family resides in WDM.
