High School Boys Soccer Coach, Jamie Phillips 

 

 

We welcome Jamie Phillips for his 1st season as DMC head boys soccer coach. Coach Phillips graduated in 1995 from the University of Illinois at Springfield with a bachelors degree in visual arts. He has over twenty years' experience as a soccer coach and has played at the collegiate level winning the NAIA National Championship in 1993. He was the Co-mvp for the 1993 national championship team and has also received All-America honors. He has played five years beyond the collegiate level in the Premier Development League (PDL). He currently holds a National Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Advanced Diploma and has been a member of the National Coaches Association of America for over 9 years. In addition, he has successfully coached club teams to thirteen Iowa State Cup Championships in the past 10 years. Over 60 of his players have gone on to compete at the collegiate level and one player successfully competing in the Women's Professional League (WPL).

Coach Phillips and his wife Tasha have twins Rio & Vida. He also has a step son Calid.

The Phillips are Co-owners of Nutri-Sport Full Potential Training in Clive and Jamie also works for Link Associates as a residential counselor.
