Head Volleyball Coach - Cindy Kostek
Coach Kostek is starting her 10th full year at DMC as secondary counselor, track and volleyball coach. She graduated from the University of Nebraska in 1981 with a K-12 Physical Education degree and coaching endorsement. While at UNL, Coach Kostek earned NCAA All-American status as a sprinter and served as a graduate assistant in the track program for one year. She taught and coached at Milford Public Schools in Milford, NE from 1982-1989 and at Parkview Christian School in Lincoln, NE from 1994-2000. In January of 2001, the Kosteks relocated to Des Moines and Coach Kostek began her coaching and counseling duties at DMC. In May of 2003, Coach Kostek earned her Masters in School Counseling degree from Drake University. She and her husband, Mark, have four children; Tatum, Tom, Leah, and Katelyn.
