Praying for the LAND

Director of Spiritual Life, Will Weaver, is developing prayer prompts throughout the course of the Build Today Plan for Tomorrow campaign. The first set of prompts are focused on praying for the LAND and the generations of students that will be impacted there. Please join us in prayer.

Times of growth remind us of our dependence on God as we see Him do things that only He can accomplish! We invite you to use the prompts below to join us in a season of prayer as we look to the adventure ahead!

Legacy – Pray for the future experience of students at DMC. How will God use this opportunity to shape who they become?
Psalm 145: 4, 6: One generation commends your works to another; they tell of your mighty acts. They tell of the power of your awesome works—and I will proclaim your great deeds.

Area – Pray for the mission of our school to be lived out in our area as we seek to impact the world for Christ. How can we be people who love our neighbors? 
Matthew 22:39: Love your neighbor as yourself.

Needs – Pray for the needs of our students, staff, and families during times of transition and growth. What provision from God do we need in this season?  
Philippians 4:19 And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.

Direction – Pray for wisdom, discernment, and for the peace of God. What part do we each play in God’s next steps for DMC? 
Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
