"An Accomplished Learner has the right mindset and is willing and determined to set goals and achieve them. At DMC I had teachers who challenged me, supported me and taught me that hard work is about so much more than me." Ashley Kimani ('20)
"To me, this means having an effective Biblical thinking process when faced with a challenge. It also means to be slow to speak and fast to listen." Christian Grensteiner ('20)
"A servant hearted leader is someone who puts others above themselves. Set an example for others to follow and serve others in different ways. This matters because a community is built through relationships." Cole Phillips ('20)
"To be a passionate apprentice of Christ means to purposefully live in worship of our Savior by daily laying down our sin at the cross and holding tightly to His promises. I am to purposefully live each day radiating encouragement and love into all that God places on my path." Hannah Nielson ('20)
Our daughter's confidence has really increased since starting kindergarten at DMC. The diversity of the classes keeps her really engaged. We love how the school is challenging her to do more and to do her best.
- Bret and Liz Pierce, Parents
I am very grateful for the education I received at Des Moines Christian and the people I was able to interact with there. Looking back, I can't see myself at any other school. I greatly value those roots and firm foundation.
- Katie Cole ('09)
The teachers and staff at DMC pour into our children as developing individuals. The Christ-centered focus has impacted their worldview, the way they see themselves, their decisions in high school, and now, the critical decisions they are making as adults. As our children launch into adulthood, it's becoming more obvious that their time at DMC is having a life-long impact.
- Brent and Pam Nicolet, DMC Parents
We had always planned for our children to attend a Christian school. When we relocated to the Des Moines area, we were looking for a school that would provide a faith-based education, a strong academic program and a place that could be a 'home-away-from-home' for our children. DMC turned out to be just that.
- Art and Jodi Sebastian, DMC Parents
We love being at DMC because we know that the education of our children isn't the only priority of the teachers; they desire to mold our kids in every aspect of life, especially in their love for Christ.
- Colleen and Halley, DMC Parents
DMC has been such a blessing to our family. It seems natural to give back to a community that welcomed us, loved and nurtured our son, prays for our family and continues to bless us in so many ways.
