Des Moines Christian Schools is governed by the Board of Trustees. The Board has the following responsibilities:

To support and guard the school’s mission and values
To provide input with the development of the Strategic Plan / Strategic Financial Plan and provide oversight of its execution
To ensure the school is here for succeeding generations of children
To support and hold accountable the Head of School

Our Board’s responsibilities are strategic to ensure DMC is here for future generations of students. It delegates the responsibility for daily and annual operations to the Head of School. This responsibility includes enrollment, curriculum, teacher and staff oversight, annual budget, discipline, partnering with parents, among other matters.
