Spiritual Life
The Middle School years are pivotal to spiritual growth.  At DMCS, students deepen their understanding of who they are in Christ through biblical worldview training and small group studies.  Our program of daily Bible classes, weekly chapel, Spiritual Emphasis Week, Worldview Week, and other special events facilitates the discussions, interactions, and experiences that encourage students to think deeply about and take ownership of their faith. Service and leadership opportunities throughout the school and wider community invite students to share the love of Jesus as they put their faith into action.
Weekly advisory meetings provide connection points for middle school students with a member of faculty and a gender-specific group of peers. Advisory lessons cover spiritual life, personal growth, and managing the demands of school and social situations. Groups will participate in activities and service projects. A place to ask questions, receive guidance, and build community, faculty advisors walk alongside students during their middle school journey and help guide them towards greater independence, initiative in their learning, and confidence in their place at DMCS.
