True-Blue Gala Record: $750K Raised for our 75th Year

The 2023 True-Blue Gala centered on the theme of God’s faithfulness to Des Moines Christian School throughout our 75-year history. It was a joy to be together and thank Him for our past and pray for His continued blessing and clear direction for our future.

Great is Thy Faithfulness …

We learned about the faithful woman who followed God's lead to pursue the establishment of a Christ-centered school. We also learned about periods of financial hardship and the faithful board members in 1972 who put second mortgages on their homes to keep the doors open. And, more recently, we saw God’s faithfulness through more than $24 million in transformational investments in our school, given to the Impact Tomorrow Today Campaign by more than 1,050 families over the past three years.  These investments impact current and future students and have provided financial resources for the Middle School/High School addition, debt retirement, needs-based tuition assistance, endowment, and the Lion Fund.

Great is Thy Faithfulness …

At this year’s Gala, the Lord opened the hearts of our community to give resources far greater than we could have imagined: $750,000! These donations will be used for the Lion Fund and to renovate our main gym and locker rooms.
