Des Moines Christian is introducing a new Wrestling Development Lead position to support the intentional development of a wrestling program. This stipend, part-time role will focus on leading the creation, development, and implementation of a Christ-centered wrestling initiative. The initial focus will be establishing a parent-led DMC Lions Wrestling Club for students in grades K–9, with a long-term vision toward building a sustainable, competitive wrestling program aligned with the mission and values of DMC.
This position provides vision, leadership, and coordination for both boys and girls wrestling opportunities, partnering closely with families, school leadership, and the Activities Department to ensure a strong foundation for program sustainability and growth.
The intended scope and duration would be a temporary position (minimum 2 year commitment). This position has the potential for evolving into a Head or Assistant Coaching position within the DMC Wrestling program once it is established as a sanctioned sport offered through DMC.
