Band 

Music DMC’s instrumental music program encompasses concert band, marching band and pep band. The group competes in State contests, and plays at home football and basketball games and additional concerts throughout the year. 

Jazz Ensemble is an auditioned group that plays a wide variety of “jazz” music from swing, Latin, funk and the blues. The group has a competitive season, with the goal of qualifying for the Iowa Jazz Championships. In the spring DMC hosts an annual Jazz Night for the community.
