Cheryl Whitmore
Co-Director of Early Education

Mrs. Whitmore serves as the Director of Learning and Development for Early Education at Des Moines Christian Schools, bringing nearly 20 years of experience in education. She is passionate about helping build a strong foundation for our very youngest of students as they begin their learning journey.

Helping children understand who they are and how God has uniquely designed them are the beginning of building that strong foundation. Helping to shape their hearts, building their character and helping them find joy in learning are the bricks and mortar to building this foundation. 

Mrs. Whitmore provides leadership in curriculum, professional development, and the ongoing development of a strong learning culture within Early Education. She enjoys equipping teachers and staff with the tools, encouragement, and support they need to provide meaningful learning experiences while nurturing the hearts of young children. She holds a certificate of specialization in Early Childhood Program Administration.
