Impact Tomorrow Today Campaign Update

By Cade Lambert, DMC Superintendent

DMC students and staff literally made their mark on the school by signing their names and graduating year on a 53-foot steel beam. In February, the beam was set in what will be the center of the new chapel. Contractors are now working on interior framing for the first floor.

Steady contributions all year helped us raise the more than $10.5M of the $10.8M needed to complete the middle school/high school in time for the next school year.  We are incredibly grateful for God’s faithfulness through your support.

The critical driver behind the middle school/high school building addition is the expansion of academic programming for current and future students. This spring we are offering two additional dual-credit courses, Speech and Intro to Literature, and will add more courses in the 22-23 school year. Dual credits position our students for future success by saving them time and money by completing initial college coursework while still in high school. This level of intentional planning to prepare our students for college and career keeps DMC competitive with the large surrounding schools. The differentiator is that our students are able to get this credit under the instruction of our faculty who teach with a Christian worldview. Our new space also allows DMC to expand our STEAM offerings.

Construction Update

Stay tuned for more updates as we work to complete the building this summer.  Construction updates and photos are frequently shared on the DMC Facebook page.
